Manholes & Reriveting

MANHOLES

Fitted into the base cone of your silo, these allow easy access for cleaning or for checking the condition of the silo when empty.

RERIVETING

Manage fatigue on your silos. Be proactive not reactive.

Old silos can also need strengthening as they may have originally been designed to hold lighter, less dense grains (eg oats), not other cereal and pulse grain types.

In most cases, once a silo has collapsed it can be beyond repair. A small investment now can save you having to replace it with a new one later, at around 20 times the cost.
